Mariel + Russ
Mariel + Russ' wedding was a real joy to be a part of. It was an intimate event, held at a family home overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in Fresnaye, Sea Point. Expertly planned in under 2 weeks, this incredible micro, green, vegan retro wedding was a visual feast. There were many thoughtful touches included on the day. Being a mirco-wedding, overseas + local friends + family zoomed in on the day, a practice I'm sure be be adopted with so many smaller weddings being held. A special mention needs to be made of Mariel's wedding dress plus scene change - both vintage styles worn by her new grandmother-in-law + great-grandmother-in-law respectovely. Such a beautiful way to honour those matriarchs, and touching tradition to begin. What a seriously lovely wedding to begin a new wedding season with.
